2022 BMW 3 Series G20 Fuse Box Diagram

On a 2022 car (built from July 2021) this is the box BMW's owner's manual sends you to first: in the car's interior, front passenger's side, behind a cover in the footwell below the glove box. Loosen the fasteners, open the cover, and the carrier is at the front right. The card for these cars is the November 2020 edition (part 8734162-03, the online fuse card for the VIN), unchanged for the whole model year.

Columns are numbered downwards. Left of centre stand the ten wide fuses 20 to 29 with the small fuse 30 beneath, then the narrow column 31 to 38 starting beside 23; the large fuses 39, 40 and 41 sit to the right with a relay under them. In the lower block the small fuses 67 to 76 line the left edge, 59 to 61 and 62 to 66 come next, and the wide fuses 46 to 52 and 53 to 57 fill the right. Positions 35 and 41 carry no fuse on the November 2020 card.

Above the passenger fuse box, behind the A-pillar trim on the right side of the car, the body domain controller carries six fuses on the card printed for the 2022 model year (November 2020 edition). They protect the BDC's own supply to the steering column switch cluster and head unit (F1), the diagnostic socket (F2), the climate control and rain sensor (F3), the door handle and telematics electronics (F4) and the two central locking relays (F5, F6).

One vertical column: F1 first at the top, F6 last at the bottom, framed by the connectors CON5 and CON4 on the left and CON3 and CON2 on the right.

The 2022 model year (from July 2021) keeps the driver's-side box exactly as the November 2020 card shows it. Find it in the driver's footwell of a left-hand-drive car, low on the left under the dash behind the trim panel, the box with the relays R1 and R2. Fused positions: 102 (7.5 A), 107 (7.5 A), 113 (5 A), 117 (30 A) and 118 (5 A); the hybrid positions 107 and 117 matter on a 330e.

Read the housing from the right: the column nearest the connector counts 101 at the bottom up to 104, then 105, 106, 107 above it. Moving left, each further column counts four wide or narrow sockets upwards and two small ones on top: 108 to 113, 114 to 119, 120 to 125, 126 to 131. The relay sockets R2 and R1 are along the bottom.

The rear fuse box of a 2022 car (built from July 2021) is on the right of the luggage compartment behind a removable trim cover, possibly behind the sound insulation; its card is the November 2020 edition, 8734162-03. The lower part of the carrier holds a fuse puller and the moulded part number, and the dashed line printed on the card marks the columns 240 and 281 to 296 that only the high-version box carries.

Seen with the large module at the top left, positions run left to right along the rows and top to bottom down the columns: 200 to 211 in two columns at the lower left, 212 to 216 and the wide 217 to 220 beside them, 221 to 230 along the bottom; 231 to 240 across the top of the middle, 242 to 264 in four short rows below, 265 to 274 along the bottom; 276 to 286 in two columns and 287 to 296 down the right edge. Spare fuses sit at 207, 238 and 279.
