2016 Audi A3 8V Fuse Box Diagram

The 2016 edition prints this holder without any ratings and rearranges part of its list. F6 becomes the automatic gearbox's selector lever and the anti-theft alarm moves into F8's group; the plug-in hybrid brings F38 (high-voltage battery) and F48 (outer noise amplifier); F42 picks up the windscreen washer system, F43 is named for the headlights and lighting, and F45, the driver's power seat, drops out of the table.

Access is unchanged: pull the AIRBAG-labelled cover in the steering-column area away from its lower right corner on a left-hand-drive car, or open the glove box and take off the cover inside it on a right-hand-drive one. The plate is B8V-0217 and reads in rows from the left — F1 and F2 on end at the top with relays R1 to R3 between them, the large F3 next to F4 to F10 and F11 to F14, F15 to F21 with F22 below them, the large F23 with F24 to F28 and F29 over F30, the large F31, then F32 to F37 and F38 to F42 (F40 sitting half a body low), and finally F43 to F49, the large F50 above F52 and F51, and F53 over relays R5 and R6 with R4 at the bottom.

Model year 2016 is when the e-tron plug-in hybrid reaches this holder: F16 takes the power electronics, F24 the brake booster, F31 the water pump, and F33 to F35 the brake-booster accumulator, its control and a relay — the last two printed without ratings, as the 2016 edition prints none at all.

The box itself is unchanged. Find it on the left-hand side of the engine compartment, under the cover whose underside holds the plastic fuse clip. On plate B8V-0173 the top edge carries six bolt-down links; under them, reading left to right, F14 and F13 with relay R4, then the cartridges F2 and F1; the next band is relay R3, the cartridges F12 and F11, and relay R5. Below that the plate divides into three columns numbered downwards — F15 to F21 (left), F31 to F38 (centre, flanked by relays R8 to R10), F3 to F10 (right) — and the bottom holds F22 over F23, then F24 with relays R7 and R6.
