2016 Hyundai i30 GD Fuse Box Diagram

The facelifted i30 carries a new chart, 91941-A6642, in the same cubby at the driver's end of the instrument panel. Two positions were added when the car was restyled: AFLS at 34 for the adaptive headlamps and H/LAMP HI at 38 for the main-beam relay, the latter dropped into the pocket next to MODULE 3. At the same time the smart-key fuses were renumbered - what earlier cars called PDM 1, 2 and 3 are now PDM 2, 3 and 4 - and position 8 was relabelled IG2.

The housing is unchanged from the 2012 car: seven columns, five full rows and then rows of five and four where the case narrows, forty-four mini-blade sockets in all. Thirty-eight of them are listed in the handbook and are numbered here in its order; four are spares, one 15 A socket carries a seat-heater symbol and one 10 A socket a fan symbol, neither of which appears in any table. Every fuse is captioned with the name printed on the chart so you can match the diagram to the lid in front of you.

On the facelifted diesel the sub panel keeps its place beside the main engine-bay box but its lid chart is a new part, 91940-A6121, and the layout is mirrored: the three PTC heater relays now sit along the top and the four multi fuse elements along the bottom.

Read left to right, the bottom row starts with the 80 A glow-plug element and then runs PTC 1, PTC 2 and PTC 3 at 50 A each - the reverse of the earlier chart, so it is worth checking the part number on your own lid before pulling anything. As on every i30 of this generation the positions are named rather than numbered, and the numbers on this diagram are the ones the owner's manual uses in its table.
