2012 Hyundai i30 GD Fuse Box Diagram

Drop down into the driver's footwell of a 2012 i30 and the fuse panel is in the side bolster of the crash pad, behind a small hinged flap at knee height; on right-hand-drive cars the flap is on the opposite side but the panel itself is the same part. The flap carries the fuse chart on its inside face, and on cars built in the GD's first European year at Nosovice that chart is printed 91941-A5640 with the two amplifier pockets named.

Hyundai gives every position a name rather than a number, so the chart is a picture of the box: seven columns wide, five full rows, then a row of five and a row of four along the bottom where the housing steps in. The numbers on this diagram are the ones the owner's handbook uses in its table, running 1 (CIGAR LIGHT) to 36 (PUDDLE LAMP) in an order of its own, and each fuse carries its printed name above it. The eight cells with a name but no number are the five spare pockets, the two amplifier positions and one 10 A socket the handbook has never listed.

Only the diesel i30 has this second box. It sits in the engine bay beside the main fuse and relay box, a small lidded case that carries the heavy multi fuses for the glow plugs and for the PTC element that warms the cabin before the engine makes its own heat. Petrol cars have an empty space there.

The lid chart of a 2012 car is part 91940-A6120 and reads left to right PTC 3, PTC 2, PTC 1 and then the glow-plug element, with the three PTC heater relays sitting in a row underneath. Hyundai numbers none of them, so the numbers here follow the order the handbook table uses - the 80 A glow fuse first, then the three 50 A heater elements.
