2015 Hyundai i30 GD Fuse Box Diagram

This diagram is the run-out pre-facelift panel, the one fitted to i30s built before the restyled car reached showrooms during 2015. It lives in the crash-pad bolster on the driver's side, behind a cover that lifts away to expose the chart and the fuse-switch slider used to put the car into transport mode. The European owner's manual that documents it prints the chart as figure OGDE075122; the cover itself reads 91941-A5640, the same part number as the earliest cars but with the spare pockets no longer numbered.

Position for position it is the thirty-six-fuse assignment: START in the top-left corner, A/CON SW in the top-right, P/SEAT DRV at 30 A in the short bottom row. The panel is laid out as a stepped rectangle of forty-four mini sockets and the numbers beneath the fuses here follow the handbook's table, since no number is moulded anywhere on the car. Eight cells stay unnumbered - seven spares plus the 10 A socket at the left of the fourth row that Hyundai draws but has never described.

Diesel-engined cars get a supplementary box under the bonnet next to the main fuse and relay box; it is the one the European handbook calls the engine compartment sub panel and prints as figure OGDE075129. Nothing in it is a blade fuse - all four positions are bolt-in multi fuse elements, which is why a blown one is a dealer job rather than a roadside fix.

Chart 91940-A6120 places PTC 3, PTC 2 and PTC 1 to the left and the glow-plug element to the right, with three PTC heater relays in a row beneath. The numbering shown here is the handbook table's, running 1 for the 80 A glow element and 2, 3 and 4 for the three 50 A heater elements, and each position is captioned with the name that is printed on the lid.
