Engine compartment fuse box (TIPM) — mini fuses M
In 2012 the TIPM is still the only owner-serviceable fuse box, clipped in at the left front of the engine bay next to the battery. The 2012 book is the first to describe each circuit in the short form later editions keep. The powertrain feeds are simply called 'Powertrain', and the horns are listed as 'Horn' twice.
On the M side, M2 now carries a 20 A fuse for the front fog lamps, the trailer lighting and the intelligent battery sensor. M3 becomes the vacuum pump motor (with an axle-locker line from the shared RT table), and M14 is a trailer-tow fuse again. The cigar lighter joins power outlet #1 on M6, and M7 is the selectable outlet at the centre seat or the back of the console. The lower-dash outlet, heated mirrors and removable console still have self-resetting fuses that only a dealer services.

Engine compartment fuse box (TIPM) — cartridge fuses J
The 2012 Town & Country adds a cartridge to the TIPM, which is still at the driver's-side front of the engine bay behind the battery. J12 (30 A, rear HVAC blower and radiator fan motor) appears for the first time. It sits in the socket at the top right of the module that earlier years list as a spare relay.
The front blower moves up to a 40 A cartridge in J15. With J12 on the rear blower, the van's front and rear climate fans each have their own cartridge. The other J positions and ratings are the same as in 2011: J1 powers the third-row power seat, J2 the power liftgate, J3 the rear door module, J11 the power sliding doors and J13 (60 A) the ignition-off-draw main.
