2008 Chrysler Town & Country RT Fuse Box Diagram

On the first RT Town & Country the only fuse box you can service yourself is the Totally Integrated Power Module, a black box in the engine bay at the driver's front corner, squeezed between the battery and the inner wing behind the left headlamp. Release the cover catches and lift it off; the cavity legend is moulded or printed on its underside. There is no fuse panel in the cabin, under the Stow 'n Go floor bins or at the back of the van.

This drawing shows the 38 mini blades, which Chrysler numbers M1 to M38 (shown without the M). They sit in small groups among the relays: a flat stack of four near the top middle, pairs standing on end in the centre, a row of four above another four at the bottom right, and M20 with M27 at the foot. The 2008 book is the only one to call M2 a trailer-lighting fuse and leaves M3 and M6 without a named circuit. It also rates M10, the rear DVD and satellite-radio feed, at 20 A.

The large cartridges of the 2008 Town & Country sit in the same underhood module as the blades, the TIPM beside the battery on the left of the engine bay, behind the headlamp. The 2008 van was sold with the 3.3 l, 3.8 l or 4.0 l V6. These cartridge fuses feed the heavy loads: the power sliding doors, the liftgate, the third-row power seat, the blowers and the starter.

Chrysler numbers them J1 to J22 with gaps (no J12 or J16 in this edition), and the diagram prints the number without the J. Six of them line the left edge, and a row of five crosses the middle: J6, J14, J2, J19 and J1. J13 sits in its own raised pocket, and J8, J4 and J5 are at the bottom. In the 2008 book the rear door module cartridge J3 is rated 40 A; every later edition prints 30 A. J15 runs the rear heater and air-conditioning blower. The relay socket at the top right is a spare.
