2016 BMW 5 Series F10 Fuse Box Diagram

Fuses for the passenger compartment of the 2016 F10/F11 are kept in the glove compartment on a holder mounted upright behind the glove box: remove the cover in its back wall to reach them. The car's own fuse allocation card (part 9 267 980 on the facelifted cars, kept in the luggage-compartment box) is the reference - it carries the ratings and a symbol index only, so the consumer names here come from the symbols cross-checked against workshop data. Nothing on this box changed for the 2016 model year, the last full production year of the saloon.

Numbering follows the card: the top row holds 1-5 (MINI), 7-9 (ATO) and 10-15 (MINI) from left to right; the second row 16-22 (ATO), 23-29 and 31-35; the third row 36-42 (ATO), 43-48 and 50-55 (ATO); the bottom row 56-61; and the column 62-67 runs top to bottom on the right. Shunts occupy the unnumbered sockets after 5, before 31 and before 50; 41 has no fuse.

For the 2016 model year the luggage-compartment fuse box is unchanged: it is mounted behind the right-hand side trim of the boot (Touring: behind the right-hand trim of the load area), reached by opening the trim cover, and the car's fuse allocation card (BMW part 9 267 980 on the facelifted cars) is stored in the same compartment. The card prints ratings and symbols only, printed per car, so positions such as 105, 108, 111, 127, 142, 147, 172 and 197 vary with the equipment fitted.

The box is drawn in the card's orientation. The left edge carries 100, 101, 103 and 105 with shunts in the unnumbered sockets; 107-116 sit below them in two columns of five; 117-126 in two columns of five to their right; 127-136 are two rows of five near the top; 137-146 and 147-156 two rows of five each in the lower half; 167-176 two columns of five; 177-183 a column on the right; and 184-204 a single row of 21 large fuses along the bottom edge. There are no positions 157-166.
