2009 Opel Zafira B Fuse Box Diagram

Front left corner of the engine bay, next to the battery, under a black cover: push a screwdriver into the slot on the cover as far as it goes, tilt it sideways to free the catch, then swing the lid up and lift it away. This is the assignment for a 2009 Zafira B whose luggage-compartment box is the large Rear Electrical Centre (fuse box version B) – the handbook editions either side of this model year, January 2007 and June 2009, print the same layout.

Seen with the wide harness lid at the top left, the three cartridges 1 2 3 stand in a row at the top right with 4 below them on the right edge; 5 and 6 lie side by side on the left, 7 sits above 8 in the middle, and 9 is the cartridge just left of the seven small fuses 10 to 16. Cartridge 17 is on the right edge below relay K8, 18 19 and 21 run along the bottom left with the flat fuse 20 between them, and the block at the bottom right is 22–27 over 28–33 with 34 35 36 to its right.

Same housing, second assignment: 2009 Zafira B models built without the Rear Electrical Centre (their boot has only the small eight-fuse box, version A) wire the engine-bay box this way. The box is at the front left of the engine compartment beside the battery; release the lid with a screwdriver pushed into the opening and tilted sideways, then swing it up and lift it off.

The positions are the ones the layout-B drawing shows – 1–3 top right, 4 and 17 on the right edge, 5 6 left, 7 over 8, 9 and the row 10–16 in the middle, 18 19 20 21 along the bottom, the block 22–33 and 34–36 bottom right – but the circuits differ on 7–13, 16–17, 19–20, 23, 25 and 27–36: central locking, the diagnostic connector, the instruments and the courtesy light move up front, and 19, 25 and 28 stay empty.

Left-hand side of the luggage compartment behind the trim cover: push the two locking tabs forward and lift the cover off (nothing should be stored behind it). Fuse box version B – the Rear Electrical Centre – is the large unit found in most 2009 Zafira B models; base cars may have the eight-fuse version A rail instead. Spare fuses and the fuse extractor live in this box.

Facing the unit with the harness plugs above and below, the fuses form two rows read left to right, upper row first: cartridge 1, empty cartridge socket 2, 3–7, the empty cartridge sockets 8 and 9, 10 lying flat, cartridge 11 and then 12–22; below them cartridge 23, 24–30, the empty cartridge socket 31, 32, 33–38, 39–42 and the two empty cartridge sockets 43 and 44. Relays K1–K3 sit along the top edge and K4 at the bottom; the spare-fuse pockets are in the middle.
