2011 Ford Escape II Fuse Box Diagram

Ford's 2011 Escape owner's guide prints the same fuse assignment as 2010, so this panel carries over unchanged. Look for it on the passenger side of the centre console where it meets the dashboard; a trim cover comes off first, then a fuse cover held by two tabs, one at the top and one at the bottom. Spare fuses are fitted at 1 (30 A, the 110 V inverter on the Hybrid), 13, 16, 30, 33, 34, 42 and 44, handy when a lighting or accessory fuse blows. The layout, as drawn by Ford: a long bottom row 1-16 numbered left to right, two short left-hand rows 17-19 and 29-31, two rows 20-26 and 32-38 beside the big delayed accessory relay 48, the upright pair 41-42 and flat 43-46 at the top, and 39, 40, 28 and 27 at the right. The 30 A breaker 47 serves the power windows.

The 2011 Escape keeps the 2010 power distribution box plate and fuse table unchanged (2.5 L four-cylinder or 3.0 L V6). You will find the box on the driver's side of the engine compartment next to the battery; Ford warns to disconnect the battery before servicing the high-current fuses. At the top left, under three terminal tabs, are the bolt-down MIDI fuses A (80 A for the electric power steering) and B (125 A to the passenger compartment fuse panel). The large cartridge fuses fill the left half of the box, flat mini fuses line the left edge, and a double column of upright mini fuses (22-29, fuel system, ignition and PCM) separates the 21 and 30 relay banks. Relays: 20 A/C clutch, 21A-21D defroster, fuel, blower and PCM, 30A-30D cooling fans and starter, 31A reversing lamps, 31C-31E trailer tow, 31F liftgate latch. 33 and 34 are diodes; 4, 15, 24, 31B, 32 and 36 are unused.

The 2011 Escape Hybrid guide repeats the 2010 hybrid table, so the power distribution box assignment is unchanged. The box is on the driver's side of the engine compartment next to the 12 V underhood battery (the high-voltage traction battery under the rear cargo floor is not protected by these fuses). Disconnect the 12 V battery first. The high-current feeds specific to the hybrid are cartridge 4 (40 A electric vacuum pump, relay 30B), cartridge 15 (50 A traction battery control module) and cartridges 9 and 18 (50 A brake control module). MIDI fuse A (80 A) supplies the power steering, B (125 A) the interior fuse panel. Relays: 21A defroster, 21B ignition, 21C blower, 21D PCM, 30A/30C/30D cooling fans, 31A reversing lamps, 31C heater pump, 31D coolant pump, 31F liftgate latch. Unused: 6, 11, 13, 20, 31B, 31E, 32, 34, 36.
