2010 Ford Escape II Fuse Box Diagram

The 2010 Escape's interior fuse panel is where it was in 2008 and 2009: on the front passenger's side of the centre console, tucked under the lip of the instrument panel. After removing the console side panel, press the upper and lower tabs of the fuse cover to free it. New for 2010 are the rear-view camera on fuse 32, the camera display in the mirror on 41, active park assist on 35 and the GPS module on 14, where the satellite radio used to be. On the plate, fuses 1-16 run left to right along the bottom; above them, 17-19 and 29-31 sit on the left, 20-26 and 32-38 to the right of relay 48, 41-42 and 43-46 along the top edge, 39-40 and 28-27 at the right. Breaker 47 (30 A) protects the power windows. On an Escape Hybrid fuse 1 feeds the 110 V inverter and fuse 37 is a spare.

2010 brought a revised plate for the Escape's power distribution box: socket 36 at the bottom right is drawn larger and position 37 is gone. The box stays on the driver's side of the engine bay beside the battery, along the inner fender on both the 2.5 L and the 3.0 L; disconnect the battery and keep the cover on whenever the battery is reconnected. The two bolt-down MIDI fuses are A (80 A, power steering) and B (125 A, interior fuse panel). Cartridge fuses: 2 rear defroster, 3 console power point, 9 ABS, 10 wipers, 11 starter, 12 blower, 16-17 cooling fans, 18 ABS valves, 19 power seats. Mini fuses on end: 22 fuel pump, 23 injectors, 25 ABS module, 26 ignition coils, 27-29 PCM. Relays: 20 A/C clutch, 21A defroster, 21B fuel, 21C blower, 21D PCM, 30A-30D fans and starter (30B), 31A reversing lamps, 31C-31E trailer tow, 31F liftgate latch. Diodes: 33 PCM, 34 start.

For 2010 the Escape Hybrid's A/C compressor is electric, so the A/C clutch fuse 13, relay 20 and diode 32 in the power distribution box are all empty, and fuse 27 now also feeds the electronic compressor and the heater and motor-electronics coolant pump relays. The box sits on the driver's side of the engine bay beside the low-voltage (underhood) battery; disconnect it before handling high-current fuses. The plate matches the gasoline model's 2010 revision (enlarged socket 36, no 37). MIDI fuses A (80 A) and B (125 A) sit under the terminal tabs. Cartridges: 4 electric vacuum pump, 9 and 18 brake control module, 15 traction battery control module, 16-17 cooling fans. Relays: 21A defroster, 21B ignition, 21C blower, 21D PCM, 30A/30C/30D fans, 30B vacuum pump, 31A reversing lamps, 31C heater pump, 31D coolant pump, 31F liftgate latch. 33 is the PCM diode.
