2018 BMW X5 F15 Fuse Box Diagram

The last F15 model year (production ended in mid-2018 before the G05) keeps the July-2016 card edition, so this page matches the 2017 assignments: 62 at 20 A, 150 at 7.5 A. To reach the box, kneel in the front passenger footwell, undo the three fasteners in the bottom edge of the glove-compartment trim and let the panel drop; the fuse card is stowed at the rear box behind the right-hand luggage compartment trim.

Hold the card landscape and the numbers run as here: 18-35 across the top, 42-56 across the bottom, 57-63 down the left side, 64-70 down the right, 36-41 in the centre between the two relays (36-38 are the larger ATO blades, 39-41 MINI). 40 and 51 have no fuse; 39 is populated only on cars with the second left-headlight feed.

The 2018 X5 (the F15's final year) stores its rear fuse box behind the right side trim of the luggage compartment, on end, under a cover with an arrow; the fuse card and fuse puller are with it. Its card is the July-2016 edition: tailgate function module on 107 and 150, 150 at 7.5 A, otherwise unchanged since 2014.

Turn the card landscape to read it as drawn. 100-111 form the top row (five MINI, then seven ATO), 112-117 a block right of the centre relays, 118-123 a block lower left, 124-142 the bottom row (twelve MINI, then seven ATO). On the left, 143-153 and 154-159 are stacked flat; on the right, 160-166 lie flat one above the other. 167 (soft-close front doors) sits above 121-123 where the workshop drawing puts it.

For the final model year of the F15, the fourteen BDC fuses are where they were on every earlier car: on the body domain controller behind the side trim of the front passenger footwell, on the A-pillar. The trim comes off after the door edge protection is peeled back; the module's fuses sit between its connector blocks, with the window motors (1, 2, 4, 6), the door locks (3, 7), the heated rear window (5) and the horn (13) among them.

This drawing copies the card: two rows of seven, each numbered right to left - 7 to 1 on the upper row, 14 to 8 on the lower. Because the module stands upright in the car, the two rows are really two columns. 8 and 14 have no fuse.
