Junction box behind the glove compartment

Where to look: the passenger-side glove compartment hides the junction box. Release the glove box damper (push it forward at its lower end), squeeze both retaining tabs and swing the box down; the fuse carrier is behind it with BMW's plastic puller clipped to it and the fuse allocation card printed on the inside of the cover. The 2015 model year is the last of the E84 (production ended in June 2015; the F48 that followed has a different box), and its card is the same 92-position edition as the 2011-2014 cars - the ratings and symbols below are that card's.

Position map: the top of the card holds three blocks of MINI fuses, each two rows of five (1-5 over 6-10, and so on to 21-25 over 26-30). Below them the ATO fuses 31-49 form six columns of three that count upward (31 bottom, 33 top), skipping 43. The single upright ATO 50 is at the far left; below it the flat MINI block 52-61 counts upward in two columns. In the middle stand 62-66 over 67-71; along the bottom run 72-77, the three tall fuses 78-80, the ATO block 81-86 and, at the far right, the six MAXI fuses 87-92 - the last two blocks each counted from the bottom of the left column.
