Engine compartment fuse box (mini fuses)
The box sits at the left-hand rear of the engine compartment, tight against the battery. Release the catch on the cover, swing it upwards and lift it away; the little plastic extractor stowed inside pulls the small blades out. This is the arrangement the first Mokkas carried when European deliveries began in the autumn of 2012, printed in the June 2012 handbook.
Thirty-six mini blades are spread around the housing. Number 1 stands on end next to the fuse-puller pocket; 4 and 5, then 8, 12 and 14, step down the left-hand wall; 6, 9, 11 and 13 form a column on the right with 7 and 10 beside them; 15 and 16 sit in the middle; 21 to 26 and 28 to 30 fill the lower centre; 31 to 36 stand on end along the bottom. The eleven cartridge sockets belong to a second numbering and are drawn empty here. Opel's handbook prints no amperages, so the ratings shown come from General Motors' manuals for the same box.

Engine compartment fuse box (J-case fuses)
Same housing as the mini fuses — the box beside the battery at the left-hand rear of the engine compartment — but this drawing carries the eleven large cartridge fuses, which Opel numbers 1 to 11 in a series of their own. Unclip the cover and lift it upwards to reach them.
Cartridge 1 sits in the middle of the upper half, 2 and 3 side by side at the top right, 4 and 5 in the right-hand middle, 6 and 7 as a pair on the left wall, 8 and 9 low on the right and 10 and 11 stacked in the bottom left corner. The thirty-six mini blades that share the housing are drawn as empty sockets so the positions can be read against the label. On these first cars Opel names 3 and 4 for the engine control module; the wording was corrected in later editions, which call them the blower's power module and the feed to the instrument panel box.

Instrument panel fuse box (mini fuses)
In a left-hand-drive Mokka the interior fuse block is under the driver's side of the instrument panel: open the storage bin below the steering wheel and pull it out, and the fuses are behind it. Right-hand-drive cars carry the same block behind a cover in the glovebox.
Thirty-four mini fuses are numbered here. F1 to F9 form the right-hand column, F10 to F19 the column immediately to their left, both read downwards; F20 to F23 and F24 to F28 lie in the two short columns across the top; F29 and F30 stand on end at the left edge; F31 to F34 are stacked at the bottom left. Between them sit five relays, the eight slow-blow cartridges of the second series, the circuit-breaker socket CB1, the midi fuse M01 and eight unnumbered pockets that hold spare fuses. The amperages are GM's — the Opel handbook prints circuits only.

Instrument panel fuse box (slow-blow fuses)
The same interior block that holds the small blades also holds eight slow-blow cartridge fuses, numbered 01 to 08 in a series of their own. Reach them the way you reach the rest of the block: pull the storage bin out from under the driver's side of the instrument panel, or open the glovebox cover on a right-hand-drive car.
Six of the eight are grouped at the bottom of the block, S/B03, S/B02 and S/B01 in a row with S/B06, S/B05 and S/B04 beneath them, and the remaining two, S/B07 and S/B08, are stacked in the middle left beside the accessory relay. On a 2012 car only three are used — the front and rear window motors and the logistic-mode relay — and the other five are empty sockets. The mini fuses of the block are drawn here without numbers; they have their own diagram.

Load compartment fuse box (mini fuses)
The third fuse box is in the load compartment, behind a cover on the left-hand side; unclip the cover and lift it out to reach the fuses. It carries the equipment fuses — seats, amplifier, trailer wiring, all-wheel drive — so on a lightly equipped 2012 car many of its sockets are empty.
Eighteen mini fuses are numbered here. Ten of them stand in the tall column in the middle of the box, numbered upwards from F1 at the bottom to F10 at the top, and the other eight are in the pair of short columns along the bottom edge: F11 to F14 to the right, F15 to F18 to the left, each read downwards. The nine larger cartridges to their right carry their own numbering. Ratings are General Motors' figures for the same box, as the Opel handbook lists circuits without amperages.

Load compartment fuse box (slow-blow fuses)
The load compartment box has a second series of nine fuses, the slow-blow cartridges S/B01 to S/B09, which sit in the right-hand half of the housing behind the same left-side boot cover.
They are read in two columns. The inner column holds six, numbered from the bottom up: S/B01 lowest, then 02, 03, 04, 05 and S/B06 at the top. The outer column at the right-hand edge holds three, again bottom up: S/B07, S/B08 and S/B09. On a 2012 Mokka six of them are in use — the two power seat adjusters at 30 A, the trailer module at 40 A, the voltage converter at 30 A, the battery feed at 40 A and the headlight washer at 25 A — and the last three are spare sockets. The mini fuses of the same box are drawn without numbers here.
