2012 Kia Soul AM Fuse Box Diagram

The 2012 facelift left the interior box exactly where it was, in the driver's side panel bolster behind the trim cover at the outboard end of the dash, and it is still the same 36-cell housing. What changed is the label inside that cover, which the AM(FL) handbook reproduces as a drawing for the first time - the earlier editions printed only a photograph showing where to look.

Read the plate in columns from the left. Three cells were reassigned at the facelift: position 3 became PDM 2 for the start/stop button, position 17 became PDM 1, and position 19 became C/LIGHTER at 20 A, feeding the lighter and the rear outlet while position 28 took over the front one. Position 9, which used to hold the seat warmer fuse, is now a live but empty socket - the heated seats are fed from SEAT HEATER in the engine compartment box on the facelifted car.

On the facelifted Soul the engine compartment box is a new internal layout in the old place - low on the driver's side of the engine bay beside the battery, under a lid you free by pressing its front tab. The 2012 handbook prints the plate itself, part number 91941-2K020, so every cell on this diagram comes from Kia's own drawing of the box rather than from a redrawing of it.

The box reads in three bands. Across the top, between the two terminal studs, is the multi-fuse bar: positions 1 to 8, plus one cell Kia draws but leaves unnamed. Below it are two rows of blade fuses, and because the handbook tables the lower row first, the six cartridges and the blades beside them are 9 to 22 while the upper row is 23 to 35. Thirteen relays and the wide diagnosis connector fill the bottom half. Kia prints one table per engine, 1.6 GDI and 2.0; where the two differ, the fuse's own description says so.
