Inner fuse panel
The inner fuse panel of the first North American model year of the Soul hides behind a hinged cover in the driver's side panel bolster, at the outboard end of the dashboard where it meets the door. Open the driver's door, pull the cover towards you, and the panel faces the door rather than the seat; the fuse puller for it is stored in the engine compartment box, not here.
Kia prints no numbers on this box. Every position carries a circuit name on the cover label instead, so the numbering below follows the order that label reads: down the first column of ten, down the second, then the shorter third and fourth columns and the pair standing on their own at the right-hand end. The two POWER CONNECTOR fuses in the small housing halfway down are positions 26 and 27, and 27 is the memory fuse the handbook tells you to pull before leaving the car parked for weeks. Under every fuse below is the name moulded on the label.

Engine compartment fuse panel
The engine compartment fuse and relay box of the 2010 Soul sits low on the left-hand side of the engine bay, ahead of the suspension turret and hard against the battery, under a black clip-on lid. Press the tab at the front of the lid and lift it away; the fuse puller is clipped inside the box itself, at the top right beside the relays.
Four things are stacked inside, and the numbering below walks them in the order the handbook's table does: the multi-fuse bar bolted across the bottom between the two terminal studs is positions 1 to 9, the four cartridge fuses above it are 10 to 13, and the row of blade fuses to their right is 14 to 25. The eleven relay housings filling the top half hold no fuses at all; they are drawn here with the functions two independent sources agree on, because the two disagree about how the relays are numbered. Four spare fuses clip into the pockets at the bottom left.
