2012 Volvo XC60 I Fuse Box Diagram

For 2012 the engine-bay box is where it has always been on the XC60: driver's side, close to the windshield, behind the left headlight. The lid unclips, and a decal on its inside maps the positions.

The housing and its three levels are unchanged from 2011; the 2012 manual trims a few rows instead. Fuse 18 is listed simply as ABS, the vacuum-pump fuse 22 and the crankcase heater fuse 40 are no longer assigned, and the engine-management blades 36 to 39 get new, more detailed descriptions.

The 2012 XC60's box A is the smaller, left-hand of the two fuse boxes under the glove compartment. Pull the trim under the glovebox back, unlock the cover and fold it upwards.

Cartridge 1 is now the 40 A breaker for the infotainment system and blades 16 to 20, which in 2012 feed the infotainment module, Sirius radio, Bluetooth and the Rear Seat Entertainment option. Front and rear seat heaters swap places compared with 2011: rear on 23 and 24, front on 26 and 27.

In a 2012 XC60, box B is on the right under the glove compartment, beside box A. Its fuses mostly serve control modules, from the steering wheel module to the immobilizer.

The three columns of eight blades are numbered top to bottom, left column first. The 2012 manual lists blade 12 with a 10 A rating but without a circuit - the 2011 book called it the tailgate lock - and renames 19 the collision warning system.

The 2012 XC60's rear fuse box hides behind the left-hand trim panel of the cargo area, level with the tailgate opening. Unclip the panel to see the box face-on as drawn.

It is the same one-box layout introduced for 2011: ATO blades 1 to 4 in the left column, 5 to 8 in the middle, 9 and 10 at the top right, and two upright cartridges - 12, then 11 - below them. Blade 3 is the heated rear window; cartridge 11 is the 40 A main trailer-socket feed.
