Engine compartment fuse box
The 2010 model year is the XC60's first in North America. Its engine compartment fuse box is the lidded black unit on the driver's side of the bay, tucked in behind the headlight towards the cowl; open the two clips and lift the cover clear.
Three levels share one numbering from 1 to 44: the upper deck A with the heavy bolt-down links down its left edge, the front face B with fourteen small blades and one cartridge, and the lower deck C with seven cartridges hidden under A. The 2010 manual renames position 16 Active Bending Lights and 26 the laminated panoramic roof; the cooling fan is still the 80 A link in position 44.

Fuse box under the glove compartment
2010 is the last XC60 model year with one combined fuse module under the glove compartment; Volvo split it into boxes A and B for 2011. Pull back the floor trim below the glovebox, press the latch on the cover and fold it up.
Two rows of fourteen upright MINI fuses: 1 to 14 across the top, 15 to 28 across the bottom, spares in between. The 2010 manual names position 10 the laminated panoramic roof and keeps the fuel pump on 22 and the brake-light switch on 28.

Cargo-area fuse module A (black)
In the 2010 XC60 the rear fuses are still split over three coloured modules behind the left cargo-area trim. Module A (black) is the top one and the only one Volvo draws; module B (white) holds the seat heaters, Four-C and electric parking brake, module D (blue) the audio and navigation fuses.
Module A is laid out as three columns: blades 1-4 and 5-8 read top to bottom, 9 and 10 top right, and the cartridges 12 and 11 side by side underneath them. Unassigned positions 5 and 8 are drawn without a rating.
