Engine compartment fuse box
For 2012 the handbook starts listing five-cylinder circuits next to the six-cylinder T6 ones, but the box is the same: a black housing on the left of the S60's engine bay near the windshield, with deck A under the lid, deck C beneath it and face B towards the front.
New in 2012: fuel injection and air flow meter on 37, the five-cylinder vacuum pump and crankcase-ventilation heater on 40 (20 A), and an engine-dependent cooling fan fuse on 43 - 60 A with the five-cylinder, 80 A with the six-cylinder.

Glove compartment fuse box A
The general-fuse holder A sits beside box B behind the trim under the passenger's glove compartment of the S60; the cover flips up once its lock is pressed.
For 2012 the seat heaters trade places - rear seats on 23/24, front seats on 26/27 - 17 adds Sirius satellite radio, and 28 now covers park assist, the trailer hitch module, the rear camera and BLIS.

Glove compartment fuse box B
The control-module holder B of the 2012 S60 is behind the passenger's-side trim under the glove compartment, right of box A; press the lock to lift its cover.
2012 clears out the steering wheel lock (15) and the CD/radio fuse (21); 8 now locks the fuel filler door only, and 12 is rated 10 A without a circuit named.

Trunk fuse box
The 2012 S60's trunk fuse box is unchanged: lift away the left-hand trunk lining. A note in the handbook refers to the Volvo parts department for current specifications.
Assignments for 2012 match 2011 - electric parking brake 1-2, rear window 3, trailer socket 4 and 11, 12-volt socket 6.
