2005 Toyota Tundra I Fuse Box Diagram

From August 2004 production Toyota dropped the separate V6 and V8 drawings: the 4.0 1GR-FE V6 replaced the 3.4, and OM34427U prints one engine box, plate R80027, for both engines. It is behind the battery on the driver's side; unclip the cover. The model year's count reaches 49 across both carriers, and four of the numbers in this one are spares, 6 to 9, standing on end beside the left-hand cartridges. Blades run down two columns with twelve more on end in the middle and a cartridge group heading each column, and the centre now carries two links, FL ALT above A/PUMP - the secondary air pump fuse being new this year, along with A/F. ETCS has one rating instead of two.

The cab block is behind the kick-panel cover on the driver's side, left of the steering column, and OM34427U draws it as plate R80028. Its geometry is the familiar one - three columns of horizontal blades, the top-left socket empty, the POWER cartridge above the right column - but every number moved when the engine box grew: 28 to 31, 32 to 36 and 37 to 40 down the columns, with POWER at 47.

The 2005 Double Cab main box, plate R80031, is redrawn from the 2004 one and now falls into two compartments; find it at the front right of the engine compartment under its clipped cover. The left compartment is the type D fusible link block: 61, 62 and 63 down its left edge, the 140 A alternator link 65 with 66, 67 and 68 down its right, 64 in the bottom corner and the flat CARGO LP blade 13 at the top right. The right compartment repeats the 2004 pattern - cartridges 56 and 57, the spares 14 to 16 on end, and the block of horizontal blades 17 to 32.

Plate R80029 puts nine fuses in the Double Cab's rear right engine-compartment relay box for 2005, four more than the 2004 drawing had. Fuses 1 and 2, then 3 and 4, lie flat in pairs at the left with unused sockets above and below them; 5 and 6 on the upper row and 7, 8 and 9 on the lower stand on end at the right. Unlike the 2004 plate, these read left to right. The lid lifts off; the relays here carry no names in the manual.

Trailer circuits on the 2005 Double Cab are fused away from the main box, in a clip-lidded holder at the left of the engine compartment. Positions 10, 11 and 12 of plate R80030 stand on end between two relays and feed, in that order, the trailer tail lights, the sub-battery charge line and the brake controller. The holder lost a fuse in the redraw: the rear seat entertainment circuit that shared it in 2004 became position 1 of the relay box at the rear of the bay.

Driver's side, under the instrument panel and left of the steering column, behind a hand-removable cover: plate R80032 for the 2005 Double Cab. The four columns of horizontal blades are renumbered against 2004 - 33 to 38, 39 to 44, 45 to 50 and 51 to 55, the last column again starting a row down - and the three cartridges below them are 58, 59 and 60. The Double Cab's sequence now reaches 68, because the redrawn engine box added the type D link block.
