Dash panel fuse box (fuse holder C)
On left-hand-drive cars this holder sits at the driver's end of the dash panel, behind the small storage compartment: fold the cover down and the fuses face you. Right-hand-drive León carry the same holder behind a lid inside the glove box. The 06.2012 handbook supplied with the first 5F cars is the last edition to print a rating for every position until 11.2015, so the launch table is what a 2013 car is built to.
Positions 1 and 2 stand alone on end at the top corners, with three relays between them. Below them the plate runs in bands: the large cartridge 3 at the left, then the short fuses 4 to 10 and the taller 11 to 14; 15 to 21 repeat that row underneath with 22 lying flat to their right. Cartridge 23 opens the band 24 to 28, and 29, 30 and 31 fill the corner beside it. The lower half carries 32 to 37, the group 38 to 42 with 40 dropped half a fuse lower than its neighbours, and a bottom band from the tilted cartridge 43 through to 53, which sits alone on the right-hand lobe. Every band reads left to right.

Engine compartment fuse box (fuse holder B)
Lift the bonnet and look to the left-hand side of the engine compartment: fuse holder B is the electronics box there. Press the two locking tabs on its cover and lift the cover away; underneath sit the fuses, ten relay housings and, along the lower edge, six bolt-down high-current terminals that are not owner-serviceable. Cars built up to May 2013 carry an extra ABS feed on position 21 that later 5F do not have.
The three columns of flat fuses count downwards: 10 to 3 on the left, 38 to 31 in the middle and 21 to 15 on the right, so in every column the number falls as you read down. The square cartridges stand on end — 1 and 2 side by side at the bottom left, 11 and 12 in the middle, 14 at the bottom right and 24 at the top. Position 13 lies flat beside 14, and 22 and 23 are the pair of flat fuses stacked in the top right corner.
