Thirty-five numbered positions and the engine relays share one housing at the front left of the engine bay, next to the battery; the cover is unlatched, folded up and lifted away.

Read the plate with the long side horizontal: 1 to 10 lie along the bottom, counted from the right so that 10 is the left-hand one; 11 to 21 fill two rows at the right; 22 to 32 occupy the left; 33 to 35 run across the top, and the last two of those are spares. Six of the positions — 8, 9, 10, 26, 27 and 28 — are JCase cartridges rather than blades, and 22 is a 70 A MAXI. Nothing had moved by the 2010 model year: the August 2007 Vauxhall edition, the 2009–2014 Vauxhall book and the 2010 Opel handbook list the same circuits on the same numbers, and only the older of those three prints an amperage column, which is where the ratings shown here come from — 27 and 28 at 30 A among them.

Two columns of MINI fuses, fourteen in all: 1 to 7 in the left-hand column, 8 to 14 in the right-hand one, both numbered downwards, with 1 and 8 unpopulated.

The box is behind the light switch in a left-hand-drive car — pull the top edge of the panel and fold it down — and behind a cover inside the glove compartment in a right-hand-drive one. By this model year every circuit in the table can be fitted, the heated steering wheel on 13 included. The GM-format handbooks that cover the 2010 car renamed a few of these circuits without moving them: the starter switch on 4 became the ignition switch, and the infotainment system on 3 became the radio.

Seventeen MINI sockets sit in the luggage compartment behind the cover in the left-hand side trim. The row along the top reads 4, 3, 2, 1 from left to right, so its numbering runs from the right; 5 is on its own below the row; 6 to 11 and 12 to 17 make two columns counted from the top down; three relay sockets stand to the right of them.

Only six positions are assigned, and each of them is optional equipment: 1 the adaptive forward lighting, 3 and 4 the left and right seat heaters, 8 and 15 the rear carrier system and towing socket, 17 the sunroof. The 2009 and 2010 editions renamed Flex-Fix as the rear carrier system without changing its fuses. Ratings are the ones the August 2007 Vauxhall edition prints — the only Corsa D manual with a rating column — with the alternatives its footnote allows named in the descriptions.
