2018 Nissan Sentra B17 Fuse Box Diagram

Under the bonnet on the right, below the plastic intake duct: press the tab, lift the lid, and the fuse layout is printed on its underside. Two editions of that label circulate on later cars, one headed H5 and one headed P5, and they differ only around the electric steering column lock - the P5 box carries a 10 A ESCL fuse at position 4 and a single 20 A defogger fuse at position 1.

Whichever label the car carries, the geometry is the same and the numbers are Nissan's own F1 to F24. Left block: F1 and F2 over F3 and F4. Centre: F5 at the head of a ten-fuse column ending at F14. Below the relays: F15, F16, F17. Right edge: F18 down to F24. Positions 8, 18, 19 and 23 are empty sockets on both label editions.

Front of the engine bay, immediately ahead of the battery. This box changed neither shape nor content over the B17's run, and its cover label still ends with the instruction to fit only specified fusible links and fuses. The headlamp washer link is an empty socket on cars sold without washers, and the second of the two radiator fan links is fitted only with the larger cooling fan.

The eight blade positions are numbered 23 to 30, the upper group first; the eight cartridge positions are lettered F to M, four across the top right and four below them. Both the numbers and the letters are Nissan's, taken from the service manual plate for this housing, and each letter is reproduced beside its socket in the drawing along with the rating of the link that belongs there.

Same place as ever: the driver's end of the dashboard, reached with the door open by pulling the trim panel free. The extended storage switch sits at the foot of the block, and Nissan's advice for a long lay-up is to pull that switch rather than disconnect the battery.

The three columns hold eight, seven and seven fuses. Nissan numbers them 15 to 22 in the left column, 8 to 14 in the centre and 1 to 7 in the right, counting from the raised cell at the top. Every position on the cover label is named rather than numbered, so the descriptions below carry those names - POWER SOCKET, BLOWER, ROOM LAMP, PUSH ENG START and the rest - alongside Nissan's numbers.
