2017 Nissan Sentra B17 Fuse Box Diagram

The SR Turbo and the NISMO joined the range for 2017 with the 1.6 DIG-T, and they share this box with the 1.8: it lives at the right rear of the engine compartment under the air intake duct. From the October 2016 printing onwards the owner's manual stops describing individual fuses and points instead at the label on the lid, which lists every rating.

Twenty-four numbered positions, F1 first. The two upright pairs at the left cover the rear defogger and the engine control supply; the flat column down the middle takes the wiper, lamp and compressor fuses in order from F5 to F14; the three upright fuses F15, F16 and F17 feed the transmission control unit, the reversing lamps and the ABS unit; and the flat column at the right ends with F24, the electronic throttle.

On the 1.6 turbo as on the 1.8, this box lies between the battery and the front bumper under a one-tab cover. Its contents are the car's power circuits: two radiator fan links of 50 A and 40 A, 60 A for the electric power steering, 40 A each for the ignition switch, the power windows and the ABS pump motor, and 30 A links for the ABS solenoid and the headlamp washer.

Blade fuses 23 to 30 are Nissan's own numbers. Twenty-three to twenty-six run left to right across the upper part of the box and feed the Bose amplifier, the transmission control unit and the audio head unit; twenty-seven to thirty run left to right lower down and feed the horn and alternator, the transmission unit again, the daytime running lights and the stop lamps. The eight cartridge positions are lettered F to M rather than numbered, and each socket is drawn with its letter and rating.

Whether the car is an S, an SV or an SR Turbo, the interior fuses live at the driver's end of the instrument panel behind a removable panel. From the 2017 printing the manual simply refers you to the label on the fuse box cover for the ratings, and that label is itself a three-column map of the block.

The position numbers here are Nissan's service-manual numbers rather than anything moulded into the plastic: 1 at the top of the right column for the heated mirrors, 2 to 7 beneath it, 8 to 14 in the centre column under the fuse puller, and 15 to 22 in the left column. The 15 A heated-seat fuse is the sixth cell of the centre column and the washer pump the sixth of the right.
