2016 Nissan Sentra B17 Fuse Box Diagram

Model year 2016 restyled the Sentra's nose and cabin but left this box where it always was, on the passenger side of the engine compartment behind the headlamp and under the intake duct. Nissan redrew the fuse pages for the June 2016 printing - illustrations LDI2712 and LDI2746 replace the older pair - without moving a single position.

The plate runs F1 to F24. Count the left-hand block first, F1 and F2 upright side by side with F3 and F4 beneath them, then the ten-fuse column through the centre, then the trio F15 to F17 standing below the middle relays, then the seven along the right edge. Numbers 8, 18, 19 and 23 are drawn as crossed-out cells: real sockets with no circuit behind them.

Facelifted Sentras keep this box unchanged in front of the battery. It is the smaller of the two underhood boxes and the one most owners never open: apart from four audio and transmission fuses, everything in it is a high-current link for the power steering, the radiator fan, the ABS pump or the ignition switch.

The four blade fuses at the upper left are 23, 24, 25 and 26 reading left to right, and the four at the lower right are 27 to 30 in the same direction - Nissan's numbering, which runs on from the passenger compartment block. Links F, G, H and I occupy the top right of the box and J, K, L and M the row beneath, each socket drawn with its letter and its rating.

The 2016 facelift redressed the dashboard but kept the fuse block at its left-hand end, behind a trim panel that unclips towards you. Nissan redrew the illustration for this printing: the block, the puller and the extended storage switch are all shown as the driver sees them from the seat.

Twenty-two positions in three columns. The right-hand column begins with the offset cell above it, fuse 1 for the heated door mirrors, and continues 2 to 7 down to the air bag fuse. The centre column is 8 to 14, from the battery-fed body supply to the push-button start. The left column is 15 to 22, headed by the 20 A power socket fuse that feeds the cigarette lighter.
