Engine compartment fuse box (IPDM E/R)
Right rear of the engine bay, tucked under the intake duct: the intelligent power distribution module, IPDM E/R, is a fuse box and a relay box in one. The July 2015 owner's manual adds a drawing that shows why a type A fuse pushed into a type B pocket stands proud of the box - the underhood boxes take type A fuses only.
Nissan numbers the twenty-four positions F1 to F24 on the housing itself. F1 to F4 occupy the small block at the left in two rows of two; F5 to F14 run from top to bottom through the middle of the box; F15 to F17 sit in a short upright row; F18 to F24 fill the right-hand edge downwards. Four of the twenty-four - 8, 18, 19 and 23 - are unassigned on this specification and are drawn as empty sockets.

Engine compartment fuse and fusible link box
Ahead of the battery, low down and easy to miss, is the fuse and fusible link box. It carries the heaviest circuits on the car, which is why its cover ends with the instruction to use specified fusible links and fuses only. Release the tab, lift the lid, and the assignment is moulded on the inside face.
Two short rows of blade fuses and two rows of cartridge links share the housing. The blades are Nissan's numbers 23 to 30 and lie in two groups of four, the first at the upper left and the second at the lower right. Around and between them sit the lettered links F to M, and the horn relay stands on its own at the left-hand end of the box. Because the links carry letters and no numbers, their sockets are drawn with the letter and the rating of the link that belongs there.

Passenger compartment fuse block
The block hides behind the small panel at the driver's end of the dashboard, visible only with the door open. Prise the panel off and the fuse puller is waiting at the head of the centre column. The July 2015 book adds the reminder that the low-profile type B fuses used here cannot be swapped for the taller underhood type.
Read the block in columns. Left, from the top: 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22. Middle, below the puller: 8 to 14. Right, starting with the raised cell: 1, then 2 to 7. Those are the numbers Nissan's wiring diagrams use; the cover label lists the same positions by name only, so the names moulded on the lid are the ones carried in the table below.
