Engine compartment fuse box (IPDM E/R)
The lid of this box is its own diagram: a moulded panel listing F1 RR DEF through F24 ETC with a rating beside each name. The box itself is bolted into the right rear corner of the engine compartment beneath the air intake duct, which has to be lifted out of the way first; one tab holds the cover down.
Reading the housing as Nissan draws it in the service manual, the four fuses at the left form two stacked pairs, ten more lie flat in a column down the centre of the box, three stand upright in a row beneath the two relays, and the last seven lie flat again along the right-hand edge. The unassigned numbers 8, 18, 19 and 23 keep their sockets, so the count on the diagram matches the count on the label.

Engine compartment fuse and fusible link box
Look between the battery and the front of the car: a shallow, wide box whose lid pops off with a single latch. Almost everything inside is a fusible link - 40 A supplies for the ignition switch and the power windows, 40 A each for the ABS pump motor and one radiator fan, a second 50 A fan link, 30 A for the ABS solenoid, 30 A for the headlamp washer where it is fitted, and 60 A for the electric power steering.
Eight ordinary blade fuses share the box and take the numbers 23 to 30 in Nissan's vehicle-wide sequence. The upper row, left to right, is 23, 24, 25, 26; the lower row at the right is 27, 28, 29, 30. Each cartridge socket is drawn with the letter and rating Nissan prints for it, because those letters are the only identity these links have.

Passenger compartment fuse block
Driver's side, at the very end of the instrument panel where the door shuts against it. The cover is a push-fit trim panel and the owner's manual asks for a cloth behind the tool so the trim is not marked. Inside are three columns of type B low-profile fuses and, at the foot of the block, the extended storage switch used when the car is laid up.
The cover names every circuit but prints no numbers. Nissan's own numbers, from the service manual plate, run 15 to 22 down the left column - power socket, the two audio and mirror supplies, IPDM IG2, blower, air conditioner and the second blower - then 8 to 14 down the middle column and 1 to 7 down the right, where the offset cell at the top is fuse 1, the heated mirrors.
