Left of the engine compartment, under a lid held by two retaining clamps: unhook the clamps, fold the lid up and away, and wipe moisture off the housing before pulling any fuse.

The plate groups forty-one positions, F201 through F241, into lettered holders. Top edge: S10, S9 and S8 as singles, holder S2 running 7 to 1, holder S1 running 7 to 1, and the singles S7, S6 and S5. Bottom edge: the MAXI S14, holder S4 running 1 to 7, holder S3 running 1 to 7, and the MAXI trio S13, S12 and S11. F239, F240A and F241 are printed loose between the relay bases. Relay letters: J horn; K windscreen wipers, continuous; L windscreen wipers, on/off; M starter; N terminal 87; R terminal 15; O, P, Q, S and T carry nothing. The 2016 supplement is word for word the previous year's printing.

This half of the passenger-footwell box carries fifty-one positions. Reading the top from the left: the singles S17, S16 and S15, the MAXI S14 and S13, the single S12, holder S2 running from 7 back to 1, and the MAXI S11 where the drawing is cut. Down the left edge runs the S3 column, 1 at the top to 7 at the bottom. The relay carrier fills the middle with the MINI columns F104-F108 and F97-F103, the stacked pair F109 and F110, and F96 beside relay E. The bottom is S18 through S22, the MAXI S23, S24, S25 and holder S4 running 1 up to 7.

Reaching it means clearing the co-driver's footwell: mat out, floor covering back, retaining clamp pressed, cover lifted until it locks and then pulled forwards off the box. The seven relay letters, unchanged since the model launched, are A terminal 15, B rear window wiper, C terminal 15 R2, D rear window heating, E terminal 15 R1, F terminal 30 G and G SCR delivery pump.

Two 200 A bolt-down links live at the right-hand edge of this half: F22 feeds the support battery, F21 the PTC heater booster. Neither is a blade fuse, so both are labelled instead of drawn.

Everything else here is a blade. Along the top: holder S1, whose positions run 7 down to 1, followed by the single sockets S10, S9, S8, S7 and S6. Along the bottom: holder S5, whose positions run 1 up to 7, followed by the MAXI blades S26, S27, S28 and S29. In between sits the relay carrier with relays B, C and A and the MINI fuses F89-F95, F88 over F87 and F82-F86. This is the right-hand half of a plate that is drawn in two pieces; the removal procedure for the cover is on the left-hand diagram. Relay key: A terminal 15, B rear window wiper, C terminal 15 R2, D rear window heating, E terminal 15 R1, F terminal 30 G, G SCR delivery pump.

A small box, twenty-three drawn positions, tucked behind the A-pillar trim in the co-driver's footwell. Fold the cover out along its moulded arrow with the door open and lift it off.

Reading the plate: holders S1 and S2 sit side by side across the top, each numbered from 6 at the left down to 1, and are followed by the four single sockets S3, S4, S5 and S6. The MINI block in the middle is labelled S10 twice over. Its lower part is a column of three, numbered 3 at the top, then 2, then 1. Its upper part is a right-hand column reading 8, 7, 6 downwards with a single fuse 5 beside 7; the two cells that would sit above and below 5 are blanked, and no position 4 exists anywhere on the plate. Relay A (terminal 15) is above the block; B and C, at the bottom corners, are unassigned. F-numbers across the box run from F300 to F323, without an F313.

Behind the tool holder in the rear compartment's right-hand side trim. The tailgate has to be open; the vehicle tool kit comes out of its stowage compartment first, and the tool holder then unclips from the trim.

What is behind it is small: three vertical fuses, numbered 1 to 3 left to right on the plate, feeding the 12 V sockets in the first and second rows of seats, with relay K127 next to them. The pre-facelift table designates the same three fuses F352, F350 and F351.
