Engine compartment fuse box (PDC-E)

Mercedes prints this holder on plate N54.15-2275-31 and gives its forty-one positions the vehicle-wide numbers F201 to F241. Along the top, from the left, sit the singles S10, S9 and S8; then holder S2, whose seven sockets count backwards from 7 to 1; holder S1, counted the same way; and the singles S7, S6 and S5. The bottom edge carries the MAXI S14, holder S4 (1 through 7), holder S3 (1 through 7) and three further MAXI blades, S13, S12 and S11. Three loose fuses, F239, F240A and F241, sit among the relay bases.

To reach any of them, raise the bonnet and look to the left of the engine bay, where the box wears a clamped lid. Two clamps hold it: unhook both, swing the lid upward and take it away, wiping off rain or washing water before the sockets are exposed. The relay plate alongside letters them J horn, K wipers continuous, L wipers on/off, M starter motor, N terminal 87 and R terminal 15; O, P, Q, S and T have nothing assigned to them.

Co-driver's footwell fuse box, left half (PDC-P)

The largest holder in the van hides under the co-driver's feet. Take out the floor mat, peel back the floor covering, press the retaining clamp on the cover, lift it until it locks in the open position and pull it forwards to free it. Everything below describes the left-hand half of the plate; the right-hand half is a separate diagram, and the cut falls between S11 and S1 above and between S4 and S5 below.

Upper edge, from the left: S17, S16, S15 as single ATO positions, the MAXI blades S14 and S13, the single S12, then holder S2 with its sockets numbered 7 back to 1, and the MAXI S11. Left edge: the S3 column, top socket 1 down to bottom socket 7. Centre: the relay carrier, carrying the MINI columns F104-F108 and F97-F103, the pair F109 above F110 and the single F96 next to relay E. Lower edge, from the left: S18, S19, S20, S21, S22, the MAXI S23, S24, S25 and holder S4 numbered 1 to 7. Mercedes letters the relays A terminal 15, B rear window wiper, C terminal 15 R2, D rear window heating, E terminal 15 R1, F terminal 30 G, G SCR delivery pump.

Co-driver's footwell fuse box, right half (PDC-P)

Thirty-seven positions on the right half of the co-driver's footwell box. Access is through the left half's cover: floor mat and covering lifted, retaining clamp pressed, cover raised until it locks and drawn forwards.

Top edge: holder S1 first, its seven sockets counted 7 back to 1, then the singles S10, S9, S8, S7 and S6. Middle: three relays, B, C and A, with the relay carrier's MINI fuses around them, the column F89-F95, the pair F88 and F87, and the column F82-F86. Right-hand edge: F22, the 200 A link for the support battery, above F21, the 200 A link for the PTC heater booster; both are bolt-down and are marked on the drawing rather than drawn as blades. Bottom edge: holder S5, counted 1 forward to 7, followed by the MAXI blades S26 to S29. The letters Mercedes gives the relays are A terminal 15, B rear window wiper, C terminal 15 R2, D rear window heating, E terminal 15 R1, F terminal 30 G and G SCR delivery pump.

A-pillar fuse box in the co-driver's footwell (PDC-F)

Behind the A-pillar trim in the co-driver's footwell. With the passenger door open, the cover folds outwards in the direction of the arrow printed on it and then lifts away.

Mercedes calls this holder PDC-F and numbers its fuses F300 through F323, skipping F313. The top of the plate carries holder S1 (positions 6 back to 1), holder S2 (positions 6 back to 1) and the four singles S3, S4, S5 and S6. Below them, in the centre, is a block of MINI fuses printed as S10 in two parts: a short column of 3, 2 and 1 read downwards, and above it a group whose right column reads 8, 7 and 6 downwards with 5 to the left of 7; the plate leaves the cells above and below 5 empty, and prints no position 4 at all. Relay A, terminal 15, sits above the block; relays B and C, both unassigned, sit at the lower corners.

Rear compartment fuse box (PDC-R)

Just three fuses, all of them for 12 V sockets, and one relay. The plate numbers the fuses 1 to 3 from the left; the fuse allocation supplement in force for a 2015 van lists the same three as F352, F350 and F351, in that order, and the relay as K127.

They are behind the tool holder in the right-hand side trim of the rear compartment. Open the tailgate, lift the vehicle tool kit out of its stowage compartment and unclip the tool holder from the trim panel.
