Engine compartment fuse box (PDC-E)

The box is on the left-hand side of the engine compartment beneath its own cover. Unhook the two retaining clamps, fold the cover upwards and lift it clear, drying the lid first so nothing runs into the sockets. Model year 2014 is the W447's opening season: the van was shown in July and reached buyers that October, and the pre-facelift fuse-allocation supplement written for it stays valid until the 2020 facelift.

Positions carry vehicle-wide numbers F201 to F241. Reading the upper row from the left: the singles S10, S9 and S8, then holder S2 counted 7 down to 1, holder S1 counted the same way, and finally S7, S6 and S5. The lower row opens with the MAXI S14, runs through holder S4 (1 up to 7) and holder S3 (1 up to 7), and ends with the MAXI blades S13, S12 and S11. F239, F240A and F241 stand alone among the relay bases: J horn, K windscreen wipers on continuous wipe, L windscreen wipers on/off, M starter motor, N terminal 87, R terminal 15, with O, P, Q, S and T unassigned.

Co-driver's footwell fuse box, left half (PDC-P)

Lift the co-driver's floor mat and the covering under it: the box is set into the floor. Press the retaining clamp, raise the cover until it latches open, then draw it forwards off the housing. The plate is far too wide to draw in one piece, so it is cut between holders S11 and S1 at the top and between S4 and S5 at the bottom; this page is the left-hand half, numbered exactly as Mercedes prints it.

Across the top of this half sit the singles S17, S16 and S15, the MAXI pair S14 and S13, the single S12, holder S2 counted 7 down to 1, and the MAXI S11 at the cut. The S3 column stands on the left edge, numbered 1 at the top through 7 at the bottom. On the relay carrier in the middle are the MINI columns F104-F108 and F97-F103, the pair F109 over F110, and F96 alongside relay E. The bottom edge runs S18 to S22, the MAXI S23, then S24, S25 and holder S4 counted 1 to 7. Four of the seven relays are drawn here, G, F, D and E; the manual's full key reads A terminal 15, B rear window wiper, C terminal 15 R2, D rear window heating, E terminal 15 R1, F terminal 30 G and G SCR delivery pump.

Co-driver's footwell fuse box, right half (PDC-P)

The right-hand piece of the wide plate under the co-driver's footwell covering; the left-hand diagram describes how the cover is removed. Along its top run holder S1, numbered 7 down to 1, and then the singles S10, S9, S8, S7 and S6.

Relays B, C and A occupy the middle of the carrier, with the MINI fuse columns F89-F95, the pair F88 over F87 and the column F82-F86 threaded between them. At the right-hand edge stand the two 200 A bolt-down links, F22 for the support battery above F21 for the PTC heater booster: they are labelled but not drawn as fuses, because a link of that size is not an owner-replaceable blade. The bottom edge carries holder S5, numbered 1 up to 7, and the MAXI blades S26, S27, S28 and S29. Relay letters for the whole box: A terminal 15, B rear window wiper, C terminal 15 R2, D rear window heating, E terminal 15 R1, F terminal 30 G, G SCR delivery pump.

A-pillar fuse box in the co-driver's footwell (PDC-F)

Open the co-driver's door and look at the A-pillar inside the footwell: a trim cover hides the box. An arrow moulded on the cover shows the direction to fold it out; fold it that way and take it off.

Mercedes numbers this holder F300 to F323 and assigns no F313, which leaves twenty-three drawn positions. Along the top are holders S1 and S2, both counted 6 down to 1, followed by the single positions S3, S4, S5 and S6. A block of small MINI fuses fills the middle, labelled S10 on the plate: its lower column reads 3, 2, 1 from top to bottom, and its upper block reads 8, 7, 6 down the right-hand column with 5 beside 7 on the left, the cells above and below 5 being blank. There is no position 4. Three relays complete the box, A for terminal 15 in the upper middle and the unassigned B and C at the lower left and lower right.

Rear compartment fuse box (PDC-R)

Open the tailgate and look at the right-hand side trim of the rear compartment. The vehicle tool kit sits in a stowage compartment there; take it out and unclip the tool holder from the trim, and the fuses appear behind it.

Three upright fuses supply the rear 12 V sockets. The plate numbers them 1, 2 and 3 from the left, while the fuse table of the pre-facelift supplement calls them F352, F350 and F351 in that order. Relay K127, which switches the rear sockets, sits beside them.
