2016 Mazda 3 BM Fuse Box Diagram

Open the bonnet of a 2016 Mazda 3 and the fuse block is the black box bolted beside the battery on the left-hand side of the engine bay. Its lid unclips upwards; underneath, a moulded chart repeats the same assignment the handbook prints, and the small plastic fuse puller sits in a recess in the lid.

The numbering is a straightforward raster. Thirteen mini blades make the first row, 1 through 13; thirteen more make the second, 14 through 26. Row three is the mixed one — six cartridge fuses (27 to 32) across the left and centre, then three mini blades (33 to 35) on the right. Row four is inset by one cell and holds cartridges 36 to 39 followed by mini blades 40 to 42, with 43 left as an unused socket right through the pre-facelift run. Above everything sits the multiplex slow blow fuse, one sealed module of eight elements, and to the left of the fuse field stands the relay bank — twenty-two housings that no Mazda book gives numbers to.

A 2016 Mazda 3 carries this block low down at the left edge of the cabin, behind a removable panel in the footwell trim near the door opening. Pull the cover towards you and the fuses face you broadside, so the rating stamped on each one can be read without pulling it.

Reading order is top to bottom in both columns. The main column is eleven flat mini blades, 1 to 11, running from the 30 A power seat fuse at the top to the 15 A front accessory socket fuse at the bottom. Beside it, offset slightly downward, four mini blades stand on end as 12, 13, 14 and 15. Ratings step gently down the main column — 30, 25, 25, 20 — which makes it easy to check you are counting from the right end.
