2015 Mazda 3 BM Fuse Box Diagram

The 2015 car keeps the block where the launch car had it: in the left rear corner of the engine bay beside the battery, under a clip-on cover that also carries the fuse puller. Mazda’s own drawing looks at the block from above with the front of the car to your left, and the moulded numbers on the plastic follow that drawing exactly.

Forty-three positions are laid out in four horizontal ranks. Ranks one and two are plain thirteen-across rows of mini blades — 1 to 13 above 14 to 26. Rank three mixes families: six wide cartridge fuses carry 27 to 32 at up to 40 A, then the row narrows again for mini blades 33, 34 and 35. Rank four begins one column further right with cartridges 36 to 39, then mini blades 40, 41 and 42; the last cell, 43, is still an empty socket in the 2015 books. The eight-element multiplex slow blow fuse caps the block and is dealer-only work, and the twenty relay housings to its left are unnumbered.

The left side fuse block of the 2015 car is the small carrier behind the lower trim panel at the left-hand end of the dashboard, level with your left ankle when you are sitting in a left-hand-drive car. The cover unclips by hand; no tool is needed, and the block is meant to be the first stop when something electrical stops working.

Its fifteen fuses form an L of two columns. The long column is eleven mini blades lying on their sides, numbered downwards from 1 to 11; the short column to its right is four mini blades standing upright, 12 at the top through 15 at the bottom. From this model year Mazda prints names for all four uprights — ABS IG AT IND, SRS1, METER1 and C/U IG1 — where the 2014 book had left the last three blank.
