2018 Kia Sorento UM Fuse Box Diagram

The 2018 Sorento keeps the inner fuse panel where the previous two model years had it, in the driver's side face of the instrument panel behind a pull-down cover; kneeling in the door opening is the easiest way to read it. The label of this last pre-facelift year is 91941-C6622 and it is the fullest of the three - 45 circuits where the 2016 printing had 43.

Read the label column by column, starting at the top left and working down each column before moving right: that is the order the positions carry here, because Kia identifies these fuses by name and rating and prints no number anywhere on the box. This year's printing fills the two cells its predecessors left blank - AEB in the fourth column and MODULE 8, the body control module and rain sensor feed, under the interior lamp fuse.

Under the bonnet the 2018 car uses the same main fuse and relay box as every other UM Sorento, on the left of the engine bay next to the battery under a clip-on cover. Nothing in it changed at any point in the 2016 to 2018 range: the handbook prints the identical table and the identical label, 91941-C6020, in all three editions.

The plate mixes three sizes. A column of bolt-down multi fuses feeds the interior panel and the power steering; a column of cartridges carries the ABS, inverter, tailgate, trailer and blower circuits; the rest are small blades grouped around the four relays. The order used here is the handbook's own, which runs the multi fuses first and then works across the lid, and every description begins with the name printed beside the socket.
