Inner panel fuse panel
For 2017 the panel is in the same place - inside the driver's side of the dash, behind a flap that hinges down above the pedals - but the label is a new printing, 91941-C6621. The switch marked OFF/FUSE SWITCH/ON in its centre isolates the parked-car drain; leave it ON unless the car is being stored.
None of these sockets is numbered in the car: Kia writes a circuit name and a rating in each cell instead. The numbering used here follows the label's own reading order, column by column from the top and left to right, and it keeps one number per socket across all three model years. The 2017 printing is the first to assign the cell in the fourth column to AEB, the autonomous emergency braking unit; the cell below the interior lamp fuse is still blank.

Engine compartment fuse panel
Open the bonnet of a 2017 Sorento and the fuse box is the rectangular case on the driver's side of the bay, tucked between the battery and the wing. Its lid lifts off to expose the label reproduced here, part 91941-C6020 - the same drawing Kia printed for every UM model year from 2016 to 2018.
The long strips down the middle right are bolt-down multi fuses that carry 40 to 100 A; the square cartridges beside them and the small blades to their left protect individual circuits. Numbers here are ours, taken from the sequence Kia uses in the handbook table rather than from the car, and each entry opens with the name printed on the lid so a socket can be matched by eye. Four spare-fuse pockets and the unassigned sockets are drawn empty.
