2015 Kia Sorento XM Fuse Box Diagram

Model year 2015 is the last one the XM served in North America - the third-generation UM was already on sale in Europe as a 2015 car, but here it arrived as the 2016 model - and Kia issued no new handbook for it: the 2015 book is the June 2013 XM(FL) file reprinted, fuse pages included.

So the interior panel is the facelift box, label 91941-1U650, behind the driver's-side cover under the dash: two columns of six on the left, the FUSE SWITCH between, three columns of six on the right and two rows of four along the bottom - thirty-eight rated positions, none spare. The fuse switch is worth knowing on a car this age: a dealer ships the car with it off, and a Sorento that has lost its interior lamps, clock and door locks after a long lay-up usually only needs the switch pushed back in. Numbers here read the plate block by block, each block row by row.

The 2015 Sorento sold in the United States and Canada is a facelifted XM, not the new UM that Europe received the same year, and its engine bay box is the one the 2014 handbook prints as part 91941-2P520 - the reprinted 2015 book changes nothing on those pages.

The box sits over the battery on the left of the bay, lid off by pressing the front tab, with the fuse puller clipped inside. Its cells read as columns from the left: the six-fuse row with the horn and blower relays and the spare pockets in the bottom-left corner, then the narrow column of small fuses with the trailer, B+1 and inverter cartridges under it, the eight bolt-down MULTI FUSE strips, the cartridge column for the ignition, EMS and power tailgate feeds, the relay column, and the engine management fuses at the right-hand edge. BRAKE SWITCH and SENSOR 3 are on the label but not in the handbook table, as on the 2014 car.
