Inner fuse panel
On a 2013 car the interior panel is under the dashboard on the driver's side, hidden by a clip-in cover that hinges down towards the pedals; the fuse puller for it lives in the engine bay box.
The February 2012 printing of the handbook reprints the 2012 fuse pages word for word, so the 2013 assignment is the 2012 assignment: thirty-seven of the forty-one moulded sockets in use. The numbering here is ours only in the sense that Kia prints names rather than digits - we read the cover label the way Kia's own European handbook numbers it, left to right along each of the seven rows. Column one is one row shorter than the others, which is why the bottom row begins at number 37.

Engine compartment fuse panel
On a 2013 car the box is where it has always been on the XM: engine bay, driver's side, clipped over the battery tray, with the removal tool stored in the lid.
The February 2012 handbook edition reprints the 2011 tables unchanged, which is what lets one drawing serve all three pre-facelift years. Read it as four bands. Along the top are the engine control, fuel pump and air conditioning relays with the two wiper relays beside them; below them the eight engine management fuses and, to their right, the three small feeds for the reversing lamps, the ABS module and the sub-start circuit; then the ignition, trailer and horn group; and at the foot the MULTI FUSE strip and the alternator link. Six spare fuses are stored in the bottom-left corner of the housing.
