Engine compartment fuse and relay box
Beside the battery on the left of the engine compartment. For 2004 the US owner's manual printed a fuse panel description for the first time (section 6, 'Engine Compartment'), reproducing the lid label 91213-26001 with its 120 A generator link and giving a rating and circuit list for all twenty-one positions - the table this page follows.
The layout is the label's: mini fuses top left in two columns of five, cartridge links in the middle column and in the block at the right under the long alternator link, the air-con diode between them, and a field of relays below with the engine control relay set apart on the right. Because Hyundai labels rather than numbers these fuses, the diagram numbers them in the manual's table order - fusible links first (1-10), blade fuses after (11-21) - and prints each position's label name above it so you can match it to the lid.

Inner panel fuse box
Behind the small cover on the lower left of the instrument panel, driver's side, beside the kick panel. The 2004 US owner's manual is the first for this generation to print the 'Inner Panel' fuse description (section 6, pages 6-34 and 6-35), and its drawing is the same as the cover label; the ratings below are that table's.
Counting runs upward in each column and from right to left across them: F1 for the cigarette lighter is bottom right, F7 tops that column under a spare socket, F12 and F17 top the two five-fuse columns next to it, F25 tops the eight-fuse column, and F31 (front wipers) is the highest fuse of the left column beneath the relay. All 31 are mini blade fuses; the fuse puller and a few spares live on the housing beside them.
