2020 Ford Fusion II Fuse Box Diagram

Last year of the car, and the May 2019 manual leaves the top of the box exactly as 2019 had it. Ford's plate E190797 numbers this face 1 to 55 with 86 beside 34; the underside continues from 56 and has its own diagram. The box is under a clip-on cover on the driver's side of the engine compartment, and the cover hooks into the pair of wide lid recesses the plate shows at either end. Positions 1, 5, 10, 16, 17 and 86 hold M case cartridges and are drawn as short cartridges. Every other position takes a micro blade, either a single Micro 2 or one half of a Micro 3 dual, the duals being 11/12, 13/14, 25/26, 46/47 and 54/55. The twelve relay housings are labelled as the manual labels them: 2 is the starter relay, 4 the blower motor, 9 the powertrain control module, 15 run/start, 32 cooling fan 1, 33 the A/C clutch, 38 cooling fan 2, 39 the coils of cooling fans 2 and 3, 40 the horn and 42 the fuel pump coil, while 6 and 41 sit empty.

For the Fusion's last model year the May 2019 manual reprints the 2019 underside table: 81 an empty socket where the 110 V inverter used to be fed, spares in 64, 66, 76 and 85, the anti-lock braking pump on the 60 A J case at 87. Positions run 56 to 85 plus 87 on plate E190798, and 87 sits directly under 64. The box has to come out of its cradle to show this side - release both side latches, raise the inboard edge, slide the box towards the centre of the engine compartment and pivot the outboard edge up. Two cartridge families are mixed here: short M case bodies rated 20 to 40 A, and long J case bodies at 50 and 60 A, the latter including 62, 67, 87 and, since the 2015 edition re-typed them, 59, 60 and 79. The round bosses are the box's mounting studs and the blocks along the bottom edge are its harness connectors.

Final year of the Fusion, and the May 2019 manual prints the 2019 panel table again with nothing altered: 1 unassigned, 16 on child locks only, 23 without the power inverter logic. The box is under the instrument panel to the left of the steering column, hidden by the finish trim below the steering wheel. Plate E145984 is the same drawing Ford used from 2013; printed upright with the 30 A position 38 at the top, it is rotated a quarter turn for the diagram so 38 heads the left end and the three rows read left to right. Micro 2 blades occupy 1-5, 16 and 23-37, and the eight Micro 3 bodies between them are dual fuses with the odd-numbered element on top and the even-numbered one below, 7/6 through 22/21, plus the single 16 wedged between 15 and 18. The manual prints no fuse type for 38.
