2019 Ford Fusion II Fuse Box Diagram

Nothing on this face changes for 2019 - the June 2018 manual reprints the 2018 assignment, headlamp ballast on 44 and spares in 17, 18, 27, 45, 49, 53 and 86 - although the tables now list 86 under the top of the box rather than the underside, which is where the plate has always drawn it, beside 34. Find the box on the driver's side of the engine compartment under a clip-on cover; the cover hooks into the two wide recesses at the ends of the housing. Positions 1 to 55 and 86 are on this side, 56 and upwards on the underside diagram. Six of them are M case cartridges (1, 5, 10, 16, 17, 86), drawn short; the remainder are micro blades, five of them Micro 3 duals sharing one body between two numbers: 11/12, 13/14, 25/26, 46/47, 54/55. Relays, by their plate numbers: 2 starter, 4 blower motor, 9 powertrain control module, 15 run/start, 32 cooling fan 1, 33 A/C clutch, 38 cooling fan 2, 39 fan 2 and 3 coils, 40 horn, 42 fuel pump coil, 6 and 41 unused.

The 110 V AC power inverter leaves the car for 2019, so position 81 is an empty socket on this face from now on; the rest of the June 2018 table matches 2018. Underside of the engine-compartment power distribution box, plate E190798, positions 56 to 85 plus the 87 that sits below 64. Reaching it: release the latch on each side of the box, raise the inboard edge out of the cradle, move the box towards the centre of the engine compartment, then pivot the outboard edge upward until this face is towards you. Short cartridges of 20 to 40 A are M case fuses; the long 50 and 60 A ones are J case, which is also how the manual has typed 59, 60 and 79 since 2015. The 60 A anti-lock braking pump fuse is the one in 87. Round bosses are mounting studs and the blocks along the bottom of the drawing are the harness connectors.

Behind the finish trim piece under the steering wheel, on the left of the steering column below the instrument panel. Removing that trim gives clear access to the whole panel. For 2019 the only change here is on 23, which no longer feeds the power inverter logic now that the 110 V outlet has gone from the car; it still carries the moonroof logic and the driver's master switch. Layout follows Ford's plate E145984, printed portrait with 38 on top and shown here on its side so that 38 is the leftmost position and every row reads left to right. The narrow Micro 2 blades take 1-5, 16 and 23-37. The eight wider Micro 3 bodies each hold two fuse elements, odd above even, running 7 over 6 to 22 over 21, and 16 stands by itself between 15 and 18. 38 is a 30 A position of untyped format.
