2017 Ford Fusion II Fuse Box Diagram

The facelift manual of March 2016 empties four positions on this face, 13, 14, 49 and 53 losing the circuits they had carried since 2013, and moves adaptive cruise control onto 20. It is also the first edition to print the V6 alternatives for the cooling fans, which live on the underside. Physically nothing changes: driver's side of the engine compartment, clip-on cover hooked into the two wide recesses the plate draws at either end, positions 1 to 55 plus 86 on top and 56 upwards underneath. Plate E190797 governs the layout. The six M case cartridges, 1, 5, 10, 16, 17 and 86, are drawn as short cartridges, and every blade position is a Micro 2 or a Micro 3, the Micro 3 bodies each holding two numbers (11/12, 13/14, 25/26, 46/47, 54/55). Relay housings carry Ford's own numbers: 2 starter, 4 blower motor, 9 powertrain control module, 15 run/start, 32 cooling fan 1, 33 A/C clutch, 38 cooling fan 2, 39 cooling fan 2 and 3 coils, 40 horn, 42 fuel pump coil, with 6 and 41 not used.

Four positions go quiet in the facelift manual of March 2016: 57, 76, 78 and 85 all read Not used. The same edition is the first to print the V6 alternatives for the cooling circuits, 40 A instead of 30 A on 59 and 60 and 30 A instead of 25 A on 63, alongside the four-cylinder values that are stored here. This is the lower face of the engine-compartment power distribution box, plate E190798, positions 56 to 85 with 87 under 64. To turn it towards you, release the two latches at the sides of the box, lift its inboard edge out of the cradle, move the box towards the middle of the engine compartment and pivot the outboard edge up. The short cartridges are M case fuses; the long ones, including 62, 67 and the 60 A anti-lock braking pump fuse 87, are J case, as are 59, 60 and 79 from 2015 on. Round bosses are the mounting studs and the blocks at the bottom are harness connectors.

The 2017 facelift rewrites several rows of this panel: 2 is now the lumbar support alone, 14 and 19 both feed the extended power module, 18 covers only the push-button start switch, and 22 and 35 give up their circuits and become spares while 37 rises to 20 A for the heated steering wheel. The housing is unchanged, low under the instrument panel to the left of the steering column, behind the trim finisher under the steering wheel. Ford draws plate E145984 in portrait with the 30 A position 38 at the top; this diagram rotates it a quarter turn, putting 38 at the left and letting all three rows read left to right. Positions 1-5, 16 and 23-37 take Micro 2 blades. Positions 6 to 22 are eight Micro 3 dual fuses, each one body with an odd-numbered element above an even-numbered one, and the single 16 between 15 and 18. No edition prints the type of 38.
