2013 Ford Fusion II Fuse Box Diagram

In the engine compartment on the driver's side, under a clip-on cover that hooks into the two wide lid recesses drawn at either end of the plate. Ford numbers the top face 1 to 55 and continues from 56 on the underside, which is a separate diagram; the numbers here are those of plate E144783, the launch drawing of the February 2013 manual. On this year's table 1 is the second wiper motor at 25 A, 46 the alternator, 47 the brake pedal switch, 48 the horn, 49 the mass air flow sensor and 18 the powertrain keep-alive feed. M case cartridges occupy 1, 5, 10, 16 and 17 and are drawn as short cartridges; everything else is a Micro 2 or Micro 3 blade, the Micro 3 bodies carrying two numbers each at 11/12, 13/14, 25/26, 46/47 and 54/55. The relay housings keep the manual's numbering: 2 starter, 4 blower motor, 6 not used, 9 powertrain control module, 15 run/start, 32 electric cooling fan 1, 33 A/C clutch, 38 electric cooling fan 2, 39 electric cooling fan 3, 40 fuel pump, 41 horn, 42 not used.

The underside of the engine-compartment power distribution box, seen after lifting the box out of its cradle: release the two latches on both sides, raise the inboard side clear of the cradle, move the box towards the centre of the engine compartment and pivot the outboard side up. Positions 56 to 85, numbered as plate E144949 numbers them in the February 2013 manual. On the launch assignment 56 is the 30 A fuel pump feed, 82 the 60 A anti-lock braking pump, 83 the first wiper motor and 76 the second transmission oil pump. Shorter cartridges are M case fuses of 20 to 40 A; the longer 50 and 60 A ones are J case. This edition types 59, 60 and 79 as M case, which later editions call J case, so a 2013 car is worth checking with the fuse in hand. The round bosses are mounting studs and the blocks along the bottom are the harness connectors.

Under the instrument panel, left of the steering column and behind the finish trim piece below the steering wheel; taking that trim off makes the panel far easier to work on. Ford prints plate E145984 upright with fuse 38 at the top, and the diagram turns it a quarter turn so 38 sits at the left-hand end and the three rows read left to right. Micro 2 blades fill 1-5, 16 and 23-37; the eight taller Micro 3 bodies each carry two separately numbered elements with the odd one on top, 7 over 6, 9 over 8, 11 over 10, 13 over 12, 15 over 14, 18 over 17, 20 over 19 and 22 over 21, with the single 16 standing between 15 and 18. Position 38 is rated 30 A but its type is printed in no edition of the manual. This is the launch table of the February 2013 guide, with 24 still at 30 A.
