Power distribution box, top side
In the engine compartment on the driver's side, under a clip-on cover; the cover hooks into the two lid recesses drawn at either end. Ford numbers the top of the box 1 to 55 and the underside from 56 (see the next diagram); the numbers here follow the manual's plate E144783. Micro 2 and Micro 3 fuses are drawn as MINI blades (a Micro 3 is one body with two numbered elements: 11/12, 13/14, 25/26, 46/47); the M case cartridges (1, 5, 10, 16, 17) as short cartridges. Relays, numbered as the manual numbers them: 2 starter; 4 blower motor; 6 not used; 9 powertrain control module; 15 run/start; 32 electric cooling fan 1; 33 A/C clutch; 38 electric cooling fan 2; 39 electric cooling fan 3; 40 fuel pump; 41 horn; 42 not used.

Power distribution box, underside
The underside of the engine-compartment power distribution box, seen after lifting the box out of its cradle: release the two latches on both sides of the box, raise its inboard side out of the cradle, move the box towards the centre of the engine compartment and pivot its outboard side up. Positions 56 to 85 as the manual's plate E144949 numbers them: the shorter cartridges are M case fuses (20-40 A), the longer ones J case fuses (50-60 A). The round bosses are the mounting studs; the blocks at the bottom are the harness connectors.

Passenger compartment fuse panel
Under the instrument panel to the left of the steering column, behind the finish trim piece below the steering wheel (easier to reach with the trim removed). The manual's plate E145984 draws the panel upright with fuse 38 at the top; it is drawn here turned a quarter turn, 38 at the left end, so the three rows read left to right. Micro 2 fuses (1-5, 16, 23-38) and Micro 3 dual fuses (each body carries two numbered elements, one above the other: 7/6, 9/8, 11/10, 13/12, 15/14, 18/17, 20/19, 22/21) are all drawn as MINI blades; the type of the 30 A position 38 is not printed.
