2009 Ford F-150 XII Fuse Box Diagram

Under the right-hand side of the instrument panel, behind the kick-panel trim: pull the trim panel toward you, swing it out and lift it off, then press the tabs on both sides of the fuse box cover and pull the cover off. Ford's 2009-2010 cover plate: positions 1-16 down the left, 17-19 and 29-31 across the top, the delayed accessory relay (48) below them, 20-26 and 32-38 in two columns, 27 and 28 standing on end at the bottom, 39-40, 41-42 and the 30 A circuit breaker (47) on the right with 43-46 standing on end. All positions are MINI fuses. Relay 48: delayed accessory relay (feeds fuse 41 and circuit breaker 47).

In the engine compartment, under a latched cover; disconnect the battery before changing a high-current fuse. Ford's cover plate (drawing E166589, the same on every 2009-2014 edition): relays 1-9 along the top with 10 and 40 at the right, cartridge fuses 11-22 in the second row, MINI fuses 26-31 and cartridges 32-36 in the third, MINI 41-46, cartridges 47-51 and MINI 52-61 in the fourth, cartridges 63-74 and MINI 75-84 along the bottom; every row numbered left to right. Relays: 1 PCM power relay; 2 starter relay; 3 blower motor relay; 4 heated rear window relay; 5 not used; 6 trailer tow park lamp relay; 7 not used; 8 fuel pump relay; 9 trailer tow battery charger relay; 10 not used; 23 A/C clutch relay; 24 not used; 25 not used; 37 trailer tow left stop/turn relay; 38 trailer tow right stop/turn relay; 39 back-up lamp relay; 40 not used; 62 not used; 85 not used.
