2008 Ford F-150 XI Fuse Box Diagram

The July 2007 guide prefixes every row of the table F01 to F118 and settles the changes 2007 had begun: 115 is now the moonroof, and 18 and 20 are described as the power rail. It also draws this box a quarter turn clockwise, F01 at the top of the left-hand column and F22 at the top of the right-hand one; the diagram here keeps the 2004-2007 landscape orientation of the same housing, so a reader with the 2008 guide should expect the rows to appear as columns. Access is as it has been since 2004: passenger footwell under the right of the instrument panel, trim panel off, cover pulled away by its PULL tab. Positions 1-42 take mini blades, 101-118 JCase cartridges, and 401 is a 30 A circuit breaker for the power windows and power sliding backlite. Nine serviceable relays sit on the plate: R01 starter, R02 accessory delay, R03 high-beam headlamps, R04 heated backlite, R05 trailer tow battery charge, R06 blower motor, R201 trailer tow park lamps, R202 fog lamps, R203 PCM. Five more are soldered to the circuit board inside and cannot be replaced: R301 trailer tow back-up lamps, R303 fuel pump, R304 battery saver, R305 horn, with R302 unused.

The 2008 truck carries the late-2007 version of the auxiliary relay box, so the OTIS diode D02 is standard in the top right socket where earlier trucks had a connector. Fitted on the left-hand fender in the engine compartment, this is the larger housing that comes with daytime running lamps and four-wheel drive. Its only fuse is F03, a 5 A ATO blade for the clockspring illumination, tucked under the A/C clutch diode D01 at the top left. Two half-ISO relays run along the top, R202 for the A/C clutch and R201 for the DRLs. Three more sit along the bottom: R01 and R02, full-ISO cubes running the 4x4 motor counter-clockwise and clockwise, and the half-ISO R03, which disables the high beams for the DRL circuit.

Trucks without daytime running lamps or four-wheel drive keep the small auxiliary relay box for 2008, now with the OTIS diode D02 fitted as standard at the right-hand end. Everything sits on the left-hand fender in the engine compartment. Working from the left: F03, the box's only fuse, a 5 A ATO blade feeding the clockspring illumination; the A/C clutch diode D01 immediately beneath it; the A/C clutch relay R202; then two sockets that carry connectors, and D02 at the end.
