2006 Ford F-150 XI Fuse Box Diagram

Two sockets that had been empty since 2004 are filled for the 2006 model year: 9 takes a 20 A fuse for the fuel pump relay and injectors, 12 a 5 A fuse for the PCM relay coil. At the same time 3 goes from 5 to 7.5 A and 34 comes down from 20 to 15 A, now feeding the PCM alone. The April 2006 printing of the owner's guide is the source. Where it is: passenger footwell, under the right-hand side of the instrument panel and behind the trim panel, with the cover pulled off by its PULL tab. How it reads: the plate is landscape, mini blades along the top and bottom edges and in a column down the middle, the JCase cartridge block on the right, six cube relays between them and the tall 30 A circuit breaker 401 (power windows, moonroof, power sliding backlite) near the middle. 1-42 are mini, 101-118 cartridge. The relays are R01 starter, R02 accessory delay, R03 high-beam headlamps, R04 heated backlite, R05 trailer tow battery charge and R06 blower motor in full-ISO cubes, with R201 trailer tow park lamps, R202 fog lamps and R203 PCM in half-ISO housings.

Engine compartment, left-hand fender. The April 2006 guide prints the same larger housing Ford introduced for 2005, unchanged: this is the DRL and 4x4 version of it. F03, a 5 A ATO fuse for the clockspring illumination, sits beneath the A/C clutch diode D01 in the top left corner. Along the top edge are two half-ISO relays, R202 for the A/C clutch and R201 for the daytime running lamps, with a plain connector filling the socket at the top right. The bottom edge takes three more: R01 and R02, the full-ISO relays that drive the 4x4 transfer case motor counter-clockwise and clockwise, and R03, the half-ISO DRL high-beam disable relay.

This is the reduced version of the auxiliary relay box, fitted where the truck has neither the daytime running lamps nor four-wheel drive, and the April 2006 guide draws it exactly as the 2005 one. Four positions, of which only three are populated: the 5 A ATO fuse F03, which supplies the clockspring illumination, sits over the A/C clutch diode D01 at the left-hand end; R202, the A/C clutch relay, is next to them; and the two unmarked sockets to the right are harness connectors. The housing is mounted on the left-hand fender inside the engine compartment.
