2005 Ford F-150 XI Fuse Box Diagram

Four positions move for 2005: 30 becomes a second PCM 4x4 fuse, 20 turns into the 10 A battery feed for the overhead power point, 16 takes over the brake-shift interlock solenoid, and 13 picks up the flasher relay alongside the climate control module. Ford reprinted the guide five times that year; the February 2005 printing is the one followed here. The junction box is in the passenger footwell under the right-hand end of the instrument panel, behind the trim panel; the cover comes off by its PULL tab and goes back top edge first. Numbers 1 to 42 are mini blades, 101 to 118 are JCase cartridges, and 401 is not a fuse at all but a 30 A circuit breaker covering the power windows, the moonroof and the power sliding backlite. Nine relays are named on the plate: the full-ISO cubes R01 starter, R02 accessory delay, R03 high-beam headlamps, R04 heated backlite, R05 trailer tow battery charge and R06 blower motor, and the half-ISO R201 trailer tow park lamps, R202 fog lamps and R203 PCM.

A new and larger relay box arrives for the 2005 model year, and its fuse is renumbered F03. The version drawn here is the one on trucks ordered with daytime running lamps and four-wheel drive. Reading the housing: the A/C clutch diode D01 is at the top left with F03 directly under it; R202, the A/C clutch relay, and R201, the DRL relay, run along the top; the upper right-hand socket holds a connector rather than a relay; and the bottom row carries R01 and R02, the counter-clockwise and clockwise 4x4 motor relays in full-ISO cubes, next to the half-ISO R03, which disables the high beams for the DRL function. F03 is a 5 A ATO fuse feeding the clockspring illumination. The box is bolted to the left-hand fender in the engine compartment.

Without daytime running lamps and four-wheel drive the 2005 truck gets a smaller relay box than the fully equipped one, and the fuse in it changes number from F01 to F03 with the new housing. It is on the left-hand fender in the engine compartment. There is very little in it: F03, a 5 A ATO blade for the clockspring illumination, at the top left above the A/C clutch diode D01, and the A/C clutch relay R202 beside them. The two remaining sockets are unlabelled because they hold connectors rather than relays.
