2017 Ford Edge II Fuse Box Diagram

For 2017 the Edge's engine-bay fuse box has not moved: driver's side, wedged between the air-cleaner housing and the back of the headlamp unit. Press the tabs, take the lid off and the relay column and the rows of micro fuses described below are in front of you.

Ford's March 2017 printing lists position 48 as empty again, where the 2016 book had the steering column lock; nothing else on the top face changes, so the HID ballast fuses stay on 18 and 44 and the 2.0 L, 2.7 L and 3.5 L cars share one table. From this edition the manual prints the legend as M case, Micro 2 and Micro 3 instead of M-type, micro and dual micro. Relay 41 is still unused; 6 is an empty housing.

Getting at the underside of a 2017 Edge's power distribution box takes the box out of its cradle: two side latches, the inboard edge up, a slide towards the engine, then the outboard edge rotated up.

The March 2017 manual gives 66 a job: the 15 A heated wiper park element that keeps the wiper blades from freezing to the base of the windscreen. The rest of the face repeats 2016, including the 110 V inverter on 81 and the trailer lighting module on 78. Of the cartridges on plate E190798, 59, 60, 62, 67, 79 and 87 are J case and the other fitted ones M case; 56, 57, 61, 64, 71, 82 and 85 are empty.

The 2017 Edge's passenger compartment fuse panel is on the driver's side, below the instrument panel and left of the steering column; remove the finish panel under the column for a clear view of it.

The March 2017 manual assigns 14 and 19 to the extended power module, renames 22 the occupant classification system and makes 35 a 5 A spare. Demand lighting (glovebox, vanity and dome lamps) and the battery saver still use 1, for the last time. Ford's plate E145984 is turned a quarter turn here: 38 at the left, then the top row 1 to 5, the middle row 23 to 28 with 16, the Micro 3 bodies standing across both rows with the odd half on top, and 29 to 37 along the bottom.
