2016 Ford Edge II Fuse Box Diagram

Lift the bonnet of a 2016 Edge and look to the driver's side, just ahead of the air cleaner and behind the headlamp: the black box with the clip-on lid is the power distribution box. The fuses on its top face are reached with the lid off, after the battery has been disconnected if you are going for a cartridge.

The October 2015 manual adds three circuits to this face: the rear washer pump relay coil joins the rear wiper and rain sensor on 3, the headlamp levelling switch shares 20 with the run/start lighting, and a 15 A fuse for the steering column lock arrives on 48. The plate is still E190797: cartridges at 1, 5, 10, 16, 17 and 86, Micro 2 and Micro 3 blades everywhere else. The relays keep their 2015 jobs (2 starter, 4 blower, 9 PCM, 15 run/start, 32/38/39 fans, 33 compressor clutch, 40 horn, 42 fuel pump).

To see this side of a 2016 Edge's fuse box, free both latches, raise the inner side from the cradle, move the box towards the engine and swing the outer side upwards; the cartridges face you once it is on edge.

Two changes from 2015: a 15 A spare now sits in 66, and 58 notes the port fuel injectors of the 3.5 L V6 next to the fuel pump. The driver's seat fuse 74 also covers the power seat without memory. On plate E190798 the J-case cartridges are 59, 60, 62, 67, 79 and 87, the M-case ones the rest; the bosses between them are the box's mounting studs and the block at the bottom edge is the harness connector.

In a 2016 Edge, crouch into the driver's footwell and look up and to the left of the steering column: the fuse panel is behind the lower finish trim, which comes away to give room to work.

The October 2015 table drops power mirrors from 2, leaves 18 with only the push-button start switch, makes 20 a 7.5 A spare and raises 37 to 20 A for the heated steering wheel and adaptive steering. 35 still powers the restraints control module. The plate is E145984, drawn on its side with 38, the rear-window circuit breaker, at the left; the Micro 3 pairs read odd over even.
