Behind the driver's-footwell trim panel on the left, alongside the parking brake. The trim comes away once its release lever is slid to the right, and the cover behind it unclips by pressing the tab at each side; a fuse puller is clipped to the cover. The November 2012 fourth-printing guide reprints the same facelift plate on page 280 with only wording changes this year: 13 and 14 are now named as the right and left turn signals, 19 as the Sony amplifier, and 30 picks up the auxiliary park lamps. The layout is a narrow left-hand column of 1-9 and 10-18 separated by a gap; then 19-21 over 22-29; then 30-32 over 33-37 with 38-39 after another gap; then 40 beside the delayed accessory relay 49, 41-45, and 46-47 at the foot. Above them the tall 30 A circuit breaker 48 fills the cut-away corner. Reading runs top to bottom in each column and left to right across the panel, and every numbered position is a mini fuse.

Ratings and plate are those of 2012; the November 2012 guide only re-lays out the chapter and adds the 2.0 L transmission control module to position 90. Rows on the landscape plate read left to right, and stacked pairs top to bottom. The upper left is cartridge territory, 1-9 over 16-24, then 26-31 and 39-43; the relay sockets, the large one at 14 among them, sit to their right; the whole lower half is mini fuses on end, 45-51, 56-65, 67-72, 78-87 and 89-93, wrapped around the relays 44, 55, 66 and 88, with the single cartridge 94 at the foot and a notch cut into the left edge of the housing. Relay housings show only their plate numbers, so: 11 is the rear window defroster and heated mirror relay, 13 the starter, 15 the fuel pump, 34 the blower motor, 36 the rear seat, 37 and 53 the right and left trailer tow stop/turn lamps, 44 the rear washer, 52 the stop lamps, 55 the wiper, 66 the PCM, 77 the trailer tow park lamps, 88 run/start and 98 the A/C clutch. Empty relay recesses: 10, 12, 14, 25, 32, 33, 35, 38, 54. Diode sockets: 73-76 and 95-97, the A/C clutch diode in 75 and the 2.0 L canister purge and transmission warm-up diodes in 96 and 97. The box is beside the battery in the engine compartment; disconnect the battery before disturbing a high-current fuse.
