Columns run top to bottom and left to right on this panel, which the July 2011 guide prints on page 284: 1-9 and then 10-18 down the tall left-hand column, 19-21 over 22-29 in the second, 30-32 over 33-37 and 38-39 in the third, and in the fourth the single 40 next to the delayed accessory relay 49, followed by 41-45 and 46-47. The corner above the fourth column is cut away for the tall circuit breaker 48, a 30 A resettable device for the power windows rather than a blade fuse. Two rows change for 2012: 47 stops being a spare and feeds the LED turn-signal mirrors at 15 A, and 40 picks up the licence-plate lamps. The panel is behind the trim on the left side of the driver's footwell next to the parking brake; slide its release lever to the right, pull the trim panel away and press the tabs on both sides of the cover. Every numbered position takes a mini fuse.

The 2.0 L EcoBoost arrives for 2012 and fills sockets the 2011 box left empty: 56 becomes the 15 A transmission control module, 69 goes to 20 A on that engine, 70 feeds the active grille shutter, 91 the 5 A transmission warm-up, and 96 and 97 become diode positions. The ABS valve fuse 43 drops from 30 to 25 A. Nothing moves physically: the box is still beside the battery under a latched cover, on the passenger side behind the air cleaner on the V6 and at the rear corner on the 2.0 L, and the battery should be disconnected before any high-current fuse is touched. Its landscape plate is notched in the left edge; cartridges occupy the upper left as 1-9, 16-24, 26-31 and 39-43, the relay sockets fill the upper right, and the on-end mini fuses (45-51, 56-65, 67-72, 78-87, 89-93) fill the lower half around the relays 44, 55, 66 and 88, with the cartridge 94 below. Relay numbers, by function: starter 13, fuel pump 15, PCM 66, run/start 88, A/C clutch 98, blower motor 34, wiper 55, rear washer 44, stop lamps 52, rear seat 36, rear window defroster and heated mirror 11, trailer tow park lamps 77, left and right trailer tow stop/turn lamps 53 and 37. Sockets 10, 12, 14, 25, 32, 33, 35, 38 and 54 are recesses with no relay fitted; 73-76 and 95-97 take diodes (75 A/C clutch, 96 canister purge solenoid, 97 automatic transmission warm-up).
